An established leader in the personal care and beauty space, the company specializes in aerosols, hot pour products, cosmetic pencils, fragrance, and gifting.
This is a great role for someone with a passion and eye for creative design who would love to work in the head office of a growing international company
The purpose of the role is to source, design and/or produce samples of packaging components and to test and validate new packaging components before successful launch
In your role you will be designing, packaging on CAD system , working closely with the department technologist on new or unusual production processes
You will be involved in the ongoing provision of business relevant packaging innovations and monitor the progress of relevant emerging technologies. Working closely when required with sales managers and brand managers to maximise targeted and specific sales opportunities.
Working within the studio you will be responsible for ensuring materials are ordered in good time and samples requested by the business are delivered to deadline.
You will be involved in the sourcing of packaging raw materials from a global supply base delivering fully costed estimates when recommending alternatives to the business.
Each new product must be fully risk assessed and tested , working with established business systems to specify and optimise packaging components.
