If you are currently working in administration , possibly have some HR responsibilities in your role or have a keen interest in gaining experience in HR and would potentially like to study for your CIPD level 3, then we are recruiting a great new role based in Bridgwater.
The position is to work for an established and growing manufacturing company, reporting directly to an experienced HR Advisor who will support and guide you as you take on your responsibilities
In terms of HR you will initially be taking responsibility for the administration involved in setting up new employees, including all new starter documentation and maintaining the employee files on the HR system
You will manage the contact with recruitment agencies for temporary staff ,creating reports for agency usage across sites and administer the company benefits and incentive schemes
To be effective in the position you will be confident in the use of Excel, V look ups and Pivot tables would be an advantage, but training is available if you have the right aptitude.
Working with the internal systems you will be setting up employees on internal HR ,MRP and Expenses claims systems so confidence picking up new systems is a must in this role.
General administration could include welcoming visitors to the site, setting up meeting rooms ,organising lunches, maintaining internal phone lists and organisational charts.
The working hours could be either 9am -5pm or 8am-4pm plus a variety of other benefits.
