Here at Change Recruitment we are working with a forward thinking Somerset based manufacturing business who form part of an international group.
They are recruiting a French speaking Financial Analyst for a project of up to 6 months duration and potential consideration, should business needs dictate, of a permanent position at the end of the project timescale.
This role offers the option to be home or office based, or a combination of both with social distancing measures in place during time spent on site.
For office based days they are located close to the M5 corridor with easy access from Junction 26.
Key relationships will be built across the business both in the UK and with the sister company based in France, so confident verbal communication in French is required for this role.
There will be regular liaison with colleagues in finance, operations, customer services, planning and supply chain both in the UK and France.
This is an integral role within the commercial finance team with plenty of opportunity to get behind the numbers, identify, analyse and recommend on profitability and cost trends.
Some of the key day to day accountabilities are:
- Product and customer profitability reporting and analysis
- Sales forecasting, budgeting and analysis
- Commentary on analysis to support business critical decision making
- Reviewing of costing and quotations, to include financial assessment of new business proposals and supporting the management team to address cost/profitability issues
In terms of technical requirements for the role the business is ideally looking for a suitable level of experience, an accountancy qualification (potentially CIMA or ACCA) and advanced use of Excel.
