A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Customer Service professional to join a leading Taunton based business on a permanent basis as part of their night-shift team.

Working 8pm – 8am on a 4 on 4 off rota system, you will be responsible for dealing with new insurance claims for emergency calls received outside of standard office hours. This will include assessing whether a contractor should be deployed or not.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:
·         Taking inbound calls and making outgoing calls from third parties and ensure excellent customer service is provided
·         Logging claims and actioning new instructions received in a timely way to ensure targets and service level agreements are met
·         Ensure costs are negotiated before deploying emergency contractors and the correct rates are used for the time of day
·         Pursuing suppliers to ensure their compliance to company service level agreements
·         Provide administrative support to the day time teams

You will bring with you a strong background in Customer Service. Experience of operating within the Insurance industry is preferred, however not essential as full training will be provided.
