Change Recruitment are currently working with an established manufacturing business based in South Petherton, between Yeovil and Taunton, to appoint a Bookkeeper / Accountant to look after the company accounts. This is a sole charge role, and as such required a candidate with experience working in a similar position.
- Purchase and sales ledger management
- Bank reconciliation and cash flow management
- Month end closures, trial balance and month end accounts for review by management
- Bill of materials
- Weekly (circa 20 staff) and monthly (circa 10 staff) payrolls
- Creation and maintenance of reports on Excel (Pivot tables and LOOKUP function knowledge required)
- General HR admin duties
Given that this is a sole charge role you will need to be a self-starter and have good general accounting knowledge and experience. No formal qualifications are required, just experience within a similar role and ideally good knowledge of Sage 50.
